Permissions

Permissions can be assigned to users or groups.
They define access to Sync-in modules and features.


Access to Personal Space​

Permission identifier: personal_space

Grants access to the user's own personal space.
Includes browsing, file management, and sharing, depending on assigned permissions.

Access to Spaces​

Permission identifier: spaces_access

Grants access to collaborative spaces the user is a member of.
Includes navigation and actions on content, according to the rights set for each space.

Administration of Spaces​

Permission identifier: spaces_admin

Allows the user to create, modify, and delete collaborative spaces.
Also includes member management and internal space settings.

Access to Shares​

Permission identifier: shares_access

Provides access to the Shared with Me module, which gathers all items shared with the user.
Available actions depend on the permissions associated with each share.

Administration of Shares​

Permission identifier: shares_admin

Provides access to the Shared with Others module, allowing the user to view, modify, or revoke their outgoing shares.

Administration of Guests​

Permission identifier: guests_admin

Allows the user to create, modify, and delete guests.
Includes managing their managers and account information (name, email, password).

Administration of Personal Groups​

Permission identifier: personal_groups_admin

Allows the user to create personal groups and add or remove members.
Personal groups do not grant any technical permissions, they are only used to facilitate collaboration.

Access from the Desktop App​

Permission identifier: desktop_app_access

Authorizes access via the desktop application.
Required to connect a desktop or CLI client to the Sync-in account.

Sync from the Desktop App​

Permission identifier: desktop_app_sync

Grants permission to synchronize files using the desktop or CLI client.
Includes configuring paths, sync modes, and monitoring transfers.

WebDAV Access​

Permission identifier: webdav_access

Allows access to files via a WebDAV client.
Actions are subject to the same permissions defined in Sync-in.
